Master's in Egyptology
The Egyptology master’s course is an innovative and cutting-edge course, taught entirely online on a part-time basis over two years.
The course is designed to provide you with the opportunity to learn, in detail, about specific aspects of ancient Egyptian culture, history and society – as well as the development of the field of Egyptology itself.
The compulsory units will provide you with a well-rounded knowledge of ancient Egyptian art, texts and archaeology, whilst the optional units will allow you to tailor part of the course to your personal interests. Optional units include modules on Middle Egyptian Hieroglyphs and Gender and Identity in Pharaonic Egypt.
As this is an online course, you will not have to attend the Manchester campus, enabling you to adapt your study time around existing professional and personal commitments.
